David Kelly

David Started in TV in 1993 as a reporter on the 80′s and 90′s iconic kids show ‘Wonder World!’. He went on to work as a tv writer and presenter on several other TV shows and became Executive producer and co-host of Channel 9′s national saturday morning show ‘The Zone’ at the ripe old age of 26.

While working at Sydney’s Beyond Productions David divided his time between Presenting, shooting and writing.  Credits at that time include ‘Just Kidding’, ‘The Midday Show’ ‘Coca-Cola NRG’ ‘Sex/Life’ and ‘Channel V’

David then studied film lighting at ‘AFTRS’, co-launched the successful morning variety show ‘It’s about time’ in 1998 – his first time around as both Executive producer and editor, and spent the next decade combining his skills as a director, writer, D.O.P and editor.

A real highlight for David was shooting and editing ‘The Ties That Bind’. The show that was critically acclaimed and has the unique honor of receiving Australian Pay Television’s very first logie nomination. (David also wrote the forward for the book of that series)

David has shot and directed all over the globe, from run and gun to big budget ad campaigns. Other directing and producing credits include ‘Erotic Star’ shown in 13 countries, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show Russell Crowe Special’, ‘DIY Spy’ a multitude of corporate films including training films for NSW Police and many large IT companies and charity work for Amnesty International and the NSW Blood Service
